Doesn’t not work after hours of trouble shooting it’s a board design issue.

Though it uses a USB-C connector, a regular PD USB-C connector will not work. This uses 1st generation USB-C connectivity. What that means is that it gets its power through the regular data line, not the now-used power delivery (PD) lines.Second, I tried multiple USB A (the old standard) to USB C cables. The first one did not work, and I got discouraged. The first one did deliver power to the board, but not data (it was the cord that came with a device that only needed power delivery). I tried a different USB A to USB-C cord and it worked!I did have to download CH341 drivers for my MacBook Pro (ARM), but once installed, it worked and I was able to successfully flash my first ESP12-E a few minutes ago and install it onto a PCB. Everything worked great at this point. How do you find the right cable? I'm not sure. I tried what I had lying around until one worked. Looking on Amazon for "USB A to USB C data cable", I found https://www.amazon.com/Upgrade-CONMDEX-Android-Charging-Transfer/dp/B087JMJSVC/ which says it's a data transfer cable. That might do the trick, but I haven't tested it personally.
