I have had these grapefruit spoons for 4 years, and they still look new. I don't use them much for grapefruit, but have found so many other uses for them. In addition to using them as a grapefruit spoon, they also work very well for:1) Cleaning the seeds and membrane out of squash. I have used these spoons to clean out zucchini, yellow squash, acorn squash, spaghetti squash and more. The remove the seeds and membrane without removing a lot of the flesh.2) Removing the seeds and inner membrane from tomatoes. I use these spoons to remove the inside of tomatoes for stuffed tomatoes. The insides of the tomatoes can easily be removed without cutting into the tomato.3) Easily remove avocado flesh from the skin without losing any of the avocado.Having had these spoons for over 4 years, I am still happy with this purchase and would recommend them for the purposes mentioned above.I hope this review was helpful for you.

We already had 4 of these spoons and have been looking for more these spoons for ages and finally found them on Amazon. They match exactly and my wife is very happy with them.

Tardé mucho tiempo seleccionando estas cucharas para mi toronja en el desayuno.Son de excelente calidad . La Sierra es sutil para la boca, pero efectiva para hacer el trabajo.Lo que más me gusta es que las puedes pasar a la mesa principal, y no se notará la diferencia con el resto de las piezas si la forma es la misma . Son ligeramente más pequeñas que las cucharas chicas, por lo que su uso para fruta en la mesa es adecuado, sin ser demasiado pequeñas para maniobrar .Les dejo laFoto para que puedan comparar tamaños con una cuchara chica y una sopera .Estoy feliz !

Very well made, heavy spoons. The serrated edge isn't so sharp as to cut your mouth.

These grapefruit spoons do exactly what they promise to do, which is to easily separate your grapefruit's sections away from the membranes and rind, and get them into your mouth! They also work really well to scoop out kiwi fruit, make zucchini boats, clean out the seeds in cantaloupes and melons, etc. They are longer than most of the other brands I've used, 7inches instead of 6...which really makes a difference as most male hands (my family) find that the 6 inch ones are too small for them. The serrated edges do not curve forward which will cut or scrape you mouth when using (yes some spoons do). They are not designed ornate to make a statement on their own, but plain to fit in with the cutlery you own. I would definitely buy them again for myself or even give them as a gift to anyone who likes grapefruit or sectioned food.
