NANOMAX is a nano coating that adheres to the cotton fibers in our covers to create a protective barrier between damage and your ironing board cover. The NANOMAX process is 85% water-based and used 50% fewer chemicals for a safe and fast way to keep your cover looking newer longer.
One-piece construction!
All Household Essentials Cover and Pads are sewn so that the cover and pad are attached. This makes a one-piece cover and pad that is easier to put on the board. It also keeps the ironing pad in place. This makes ironing easier and smoother!
The right fit!
Household Essentials cover and pads have tailored side edging to improve the cover's fit to the board. They also have a bungee cord binding to anchor the cover around the edge of the board. And hook and loop straps wrap under the ironing board to lock everything in place!

Tailored Side Edging and Nose
Household Essentials cover and pads have edging that is sewn to match the curve of the ironing board. This helps the cover fit better: less slipping, sliding, and general frustration. The nose is tailored, too. For much the same reason.
Hook and Loop Straps
Yes! These wonderful straps attach underneath the board to anchor your cover firmly in place. So, even if your board is slightly larger or smaller than a standard ironing board, you can iron comfortably with this cover and pad.
Bungee Cord Binding
Bungee cords do that wonderful elastic-stretch-thing to keep your cover and pad on properly. It also makes it easier to install your cover and pad. Tip of the trade: put your cover on nose first, then stretch the cover over the end of the board and smooth out. Don't forget to attach the hook and loop straps!
Attached Pocket
This pocket does double duty! First, it reduces packaging, making this product a little more friendly. Second, it acts as a handy place to store your water bottle, starch, or even the remote control for ironing while you watch your favorite movie. And if you prefer to iron without the pocket, simply tuck it under the cover.
