This item is the solution for a problem in my goldfish tank. One of their filters is an AquaClear 110. The water comes out of it on the surface above the intake. When I feed the goldfish anything that floats the output would push the the food down to the intake. The food (duckweed, mosquito larvae, etc.) ends up in the filter instead of their tummies.The photo I’m including isn’t the best, but it shows the black silicone tube floating in front of the filter output keeping duckweed away.Installation was easy. It’s very important for the glass be REALLY clean for the suction cups to stick. I used a razor blade to scrape off the accumulated diatoms.Now there’s no need to turn the AquaClear off for 20 minutes whenever I fed the fish. I am glad I bought this item! It works like a charm!

Works as intended. A little tricky to set up so it floats properly with the water level, but great once that is sorted
