It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it without fail for years. I've had mine for over 10 years. I bought another one just to have a back up two years ago. Well worth the money. I use it for filling a 300 gallon tank for pressure washing that when driven down the road takes quite a beating. Lever type toilet valves bounce around and break apart after being on the road a while. But a Hudson valve lasts for years. Every now and then I get a lizard or a frog stuck up in there and I have to take it apart to clean it but if you use a rubber gasket with a strainer at the end of your water hose, you shouldn't have that problem.

Using this valve on a bulk water tank to keep it topped off. Works perfect and easy to open and clean out.

Solo duró unos días...al principio bien....si ajustas demasiado la rosca de la valvula no hace su función es decir no sella una vez llenado a su nivel...luego tratas de solucionar liberando es decir aflojando..y luego sorpresa comienza a fugar agua por la rosca...jajaja ya me da risa ....de nuevo aprietas y no sella y otra vez aflojas y fuga ..........El CUENTO DE NUNCA TERMINAR CON EL PROBLEMA.SALE MEJOR LAS CHINAS Y MAS BARATAS

This valve was easy to install as an auto fill for my koi pond. When the pond water level lowers due to evaporation, it tops it up automatically. Works great.
