These shorts are an excellent choice for the heat. They are lightweight and don’t make the skin hot. They have a more casual look but that’s what my husband was looking for. I ordered his usually size and they fit comfortably. I would recommend ordering your normal size and they appear to run true. Because of their material, I’m not concerned with shrinking which is nice. These are made very well and appear to be higher quality.

The waist of the shorts sits two inches higher in the front than in the back. Poor fit.

These shorts are shorter than I typically wear but they are in style. The shorts fit true to the chart but are on the snug side for athletic legs. They dont produce any weird wrinkles or anything but they are on the verge. The built in belt seems kind of cheap at first with it so small but it actually works perfect. Its easy tosnug up or release for quick bathroom breaks. The fabric feels good and is similar to a jogger pant and is great for boating.

My husband loves his Huk fishing shirts so I went with these shorts - Huk Men’s Creekbed 7” - Moss - Large. The fabric is the standout. It’s super soft and light, quick-drying. The fit relies on a cinch waist. When these first came in I thought I goofed on size and went too big but they adjust well with lots of variance in the belt cinch. My husband has an athletic build so the rear fit was key and he needed the large - 5’11” 175 lbs. The thin material does well with some slack. They’re comfortable, casual, and look great.
