I wasn't able to get back to replacing pump until after the 30 day return but this is not for a 2017 Kia Sorento . Stuck with $40 part now

Worked perfectly for 2011 Kia Sorento.Suggestion: After inserting the new gasket, lightly wipe a little gasket lubricant on the inside of the gasket and on the outside of the plastic sensor, then insert the sensor until you feel it securely snap into place. Otherwise, the sensor may catch the gasket and keep shoving it inside of the reservoir, which happened to me about 3 times before I lubricated it.Also, someone mentioned not being able to test the sensor function completely until the reservoir runs low again to see if the light comes back on. If you turn your car on before you refill the reservoir, you will see that the light is still on, and it will turn off as you start to refill it. That's how I knew mine was working.

I was originally a little nervous ordering a non-Prime part with a delivery window so far out (21-42 days, which I later found out was from S. Korea), but the part arrived in 12 days, and works wonderfully in my 2007 Kia Optima. My windshield washer fluid warning light would never turn off on my dash, no matter how much fluid was in the reservoir. I was told I needed a new sensor. I looked up the part number and ordered this. Works great. My warning light is off now.My non-mechanic DIY steps (for a 2007 Kia Optima):--Jack up the front-right wheel (be sure to e-brake, and feel free to brace your wheels if you have the means, as your head will be right under the front bumper)--Remove the plastic protector under the car at the very front-right of the Kia, located directly beneath the washer fluid reservoir (two Phillips)--I couldn't remove the plastic piece all together, but with the two screws removed, I was able to keep it out of the way while I worked.--Unplug the old, broken, sensor from power. The sensor is inserted into the bottom of the reservoir, so just follow the power line a few inches. I had to first slide the power connector off of the reservoir, towards the tire, then use a flathead to release the plug from the other end.--Grab a bucket big enough to hold the contents of the reservoir (a couple gallons)--Pull the sensor out. Don't try to get the rubber seal at the same time. Save that for after you get the plastic sensor out. Use a flathead if you need to get things started, then just wiggle it out. At some point, washer fluid will start gushing out, so have that bucket ready.--Remove the rubber seal, and set the old seal and sensor aside. You shouldn't need them any more.--Dry/clean the plug area--Insert the new rubber seal in the hole. Make sure you get it in the right way. Feel free to practice on the new sensor before putting it all together under the car. Don't try to put the rubber seal with the sensor already in it into the hole. It won't work.--Insert the new sensor into the seal hole with seal already installed. This requires elbow grease, so just keep pushing until the lip on the seal fits around the new sensor. If you practiced beforehand, you should know what the end goal looks like.--Plug in the power and re-fit to the bottom of the reservoir tank.--Put the plastic protector and two screws back in place--Refill the washer fluid reservoir. You can reuse what you drained, plus top it off while you're there.--Drop the car and remove the jack--Fire up the car and confirm your warning light is off now--Rejoice about the $$$ you saved doing it yourself
