This cat costume is adorable and made of soft material. The removable tail attaches with velcro, and the back has a velcro closure from the tail up to mid-head. I wish the velcro extended further down or that there was a front zipper for easier access, especially for larger kids. Given the design, it feels a bit overpriced. I recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.

Instant hit, immediate favorite. I was looking for just a tail, to go with her kitty cat ear hat and paw print gloves. But I found this complete outfit and we couldn't be happier. She still is able to use her kitty paw gloves with it too. This comes with a tail that attaches with velcro, as well as a faux leather cat collar with heart bangle, plus a kitty nose mask which is made out of some sort of felt-like material that creases too easily for my liking. That aside however this is a great play costume that my little one absolutely loves. She is quite fond of pretending to be a cat so this set helps make playtime even more immersive. The material and construction don't strike me as sturdy enough to wear this out of the house instead of regular clothes, but she has already slept in it a few times and it seems to have held up well. The fur is soft and fuzzy, and an accidental milk drip (because cats love milk) wiped off easily. The only thing this needs to really complete the look would be some kitty paw slippers!
