Bought a 250 dollar acacia scale and it wouldn’t hold tare. Bought this 75 dollar scale and it measures an even 18g every time. Definitely very happy. A little larger than the acacia, so you can’t really put it on your drip tray, but works for what I need.

The scale itself is both good-looking and does a good job.My only complaint is the same one that I have with lots of products made overseas, that also have instruction manuals made overseas, without proper understanding of the English language, including some useless information, and a font so small you basically need some kind of magnifying glass to read it. It's just annoying to deal with manuals like that, and therefore, even though I've no complaint with the product itself, I do have a big complaint that they didn't take the little bit of effort to hire a native English-speaking copywriter to edit the manual to make it meaningful and readable.Get that fixed and I'll change my rating to 5 stars.

This IKAPE digital espresso and food sale was the perfect addition to our morning espresso routine. We've only been home brewing espresso for a few months and a friend recommended that we use a scale to keep our coffee amount consistent. We've been using the scale for a couple weeks and have found it useful for not only measuring our espresso grounds, but it's also helping us keep track of our food intake.Note: This is my honest opinion and I hope my experience with the item helps you in your decision.

While deciding between an expensive espresso scale ( acaia) and this I'm glad I went with this one. It has a timer and is water resistant. Can change between oz and grams. Love this thing! Many colors to choose from, but I like the sleekness of the black.
