Overall: Recommended! Great way to stay hydrated on the trail. Easy to use and stores plenty of water for day hiking. Keep this as clean as possible, I use baking soda after every use to keep it clear since it is not toxic. Makes a huge difference. Cheers

This hydration pack, running pack, day pack, or however you want to use it, was quite surprising when I saw it's overall quality. This pack is quite nice and very well equipped for a small pack. It is absolutely well designed, thought out, and built. It has well done and strong stitching, super smooth zippers, and good ventilation. You can tell, as it's name implies, it was definitely designed with water storage in mind. Other than the included hydration bladder, it also has a water bottle pouch on each side of the main pack, and a pocket on each shoulder strap for soft flasks. Each shoulder strap also has an additional storage pocket for phones or snacks and such. It has a pocket on each hip belt, loops and clips for trekking poles, and elastic cordage on the front of the main compartment. The main pack consist of a smaller front outer pocket, then the large main compartment with an internal pocket to hold the hydration bladder. The last pocket is at the bottom which is market to hold a rain cover (not included), but can also be used to store the included helmet holding mesh. The shoulder straps don't really have any padding, but instead make up for it with their wide width which spreads the weight out nicely. Plus it's only a small day pack so it shouldn't really be holding a lot of weight anyways. The pack itself is very light at 13oz without the hydration bladder. The hydration bladder isn't bad, it's just a pretty standard bladder with removable hose. Nothing too special about it. Overall I am very impressed with this pack and it turned out to be much better than I was expecting. I will definitely be using it as a day pack and absolutely would recommend it.

I have other running hydration backpacks, but they don't hold much, and are not very practical for hiking with the family when I need to carry more stuff. This strikes a great balance between being lightweight, has sufficient hydration volume to last for a day hike, and carrying capacity for snacks and lightweight jackets.

This hydration pack works well for what it is inteded for. It hold water great, easy to fill and assemble. It has a lot of small pockets to store things but not a lot of room in a larger compartment. My son is in scouts and has a list of essentials he's supposed to bring with him and this bag isn't his best option. If you are a single person going on a hike or ride, it would be sufficient but for an all day outing where you may want food/snacks and a change of clothes or something this probably wouldn't be your best option. But, the ease of the hydration pack is great!

The size of the bag is nice, but the length you can get out of the straps leaves something to be desired. I have a short frame and usually need a small backpack pack size, however even with my small torso, with the backpack straps maxed out it still doesn't quite set as low as I'd like for the hip belt. making the hip belt pockets hard to use. But for a running vest I can see why it's like htat. I just don't find it the best fit. I really like how much storage space is on the front straps, in the pouches you can access on the front, as well as you don't see hip belt pockets on hydration backpacks or packs this small, which is nice, additional storage is always nice. The helmet sling on the back is a nice addition, easy to take on and off, but a little difficult to get the helmet in and out of unless you want to take it half off and then reattach. However I bet it would hold the helmet very well even if you were to ride or run with the helmet on the back for whatever reason.Aside from the short fit, and high waist strap, I don't have too much to complain about it. And think it's well thought out in all the other ways. it fits an average sized water bladder and has the appropriate holes for the hose. Straps seem well made, no bad stitching's or weak points to be noticed at first glance. As a cyclist or a runner this would be a great little pack for all your necessities and some snacks and water.
