Wow. Didn’t realize how nice this item was. Son loves it for his bbq pit.

Measured exact to my Weber grill. I felt so smart to do this rather than purchase an additional black stone grill

I got this for my 2011 Weber Genesis E310 gas grill. The newer cast iron griddles weber sells are only for grills made after 2016 so this appeared to be my only option. I was excited to get this but after one use I noticed the coating started flaking off. After two uses, large portions of the coating peeled off. I was led to believe this was a traditional cast iron griddle but obviously that's false. I will no longer use this as I have concerns about flakes of Teflon or whatever this is coated with getting into my food. I cannot recommend this. Unfortunately, it looks like I am going to have to retire my old Weber grill for a newer model so I can use their griddle as I haven't found any other options for my older grill.

I've been using this for about a month and no complaints at all. It doesn't warp, and I've had it over 600 degrees, it's thick enough to give a relatively even cooking surface. I have a 3 burner grill and the back burner is about 10% cooler than the front 2/3 of the surface. That is useful when cooking, but just a characteristic of my setup. Still pretty non-stick and is seasoning well. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

I got this because I want a griddle but don’t want to keep both a grill and a griddle. It is not the same steel or texture as a Blackstone. This is more like a Teflon coated pan than cast iron. After cleaning, I first tried to season it with oil. The oils wants to bead more than burn because of what feels like a non stick surface not matter how sparingly I used it. I ran to the store and got some Blackstone seasoning and that works better. What worked for me was heating the griddle up to about 350 degrees, putting about 3 teaspoons of the seasoning on a hot griddle. Push it around with a paper towel using a spatula. Then closing the lid so my Weber Genesis 330 would get super hot and burn off the seasoning. That method seemed to work the best for me. I repeated 5 times. My plan is to clean it after each use and treat it with something like Vegetable Shortening instead of oil to put a protective coating on it. The Blackstone seasoning would absolutely work for what I want, but I think the vegetable shortening would work just as well for about a third of the price.
