I’ll start with the review before the story of the picture :-)Quality was great. Very sturdy switches that have good resistance and solid transition between positions (you don’t want a switch that can be accidentally moved into a position)I docked them a star because the switches came with screws instead of bolts, which unless you are mounting these on a wood frame, are useless. I had to go to store and buy nuts and bolts so that I could mount the back assembly to the front, through the metal cut out I made. Now the story (if you’re interested). First, don’t laugh at the poor finishing. Finishing is definitely not my thing. But heck, this is buried under the passenger seat in a military vehicle, so who’s really gonna be judging me on my rough-in design? :-)I wanted to be able to use the military NATO slave cable to power aftermarket accessories (like a winch) or to jump a civilian vehicle (or be jumped by a civilian vehicle). The HMMWV runs on (2) 12-volt batteries, so the voltage at the slave port is 24v. I used these switches in order to tap into a single battery so that I can have 12v available at the port. Here’s the connections I was able to make by using 2 switches (the goal was to never have a switch combination that would cause a short between the batteries):Switch 1 (position 1) / Switch 2 (position 1) = 12v from battery #1Switch 1 (position 2) / Switch 2 (position 2) = 12v from battery #2Switch 1 (position 1) / Switch 2 (position 2) = 24v from both batteriesSwitch 1 (position 2) / Switch 2 (position 1) = 0v (makes the same jumper connection between batteries as serial cable is making)

Definitely a heavy duty and felt like a good quality switch, It was too big and bulky for my application.
