I built my own headboard for our spare bedroom and installed these lamps for if they want to read un bed. Easy to just turn off and on.

I bought two of these lights to put over our bed. Very easy to install and works great. I love the touch feature and the light is quite soft and nice. The lens on these is perfect, not so wide that it distracts my wife, but no so tight as to create a hot spot when reading. Excellent.

This little reading light with its flexible neck and touch-to-switch feature is perfect for use attached to a headboard (as shown). Not sure it would work as well if attached to the wall since it might be a long reach to touch the base if it was on the wall.The light is difficult to install perfectly straight because the two screws in the base are only about 1 inch apart, making it hard to ensure they are perfectly level. I suggest you make your own template.

Great lamp for reading in bed. The light temperature is very nice for night time reading and the dimming fonction works well. The lamp is stylish, but also subtle, which is what we sere looking for for our bedroom. The first one I ordered had a loose part, but the seller sent a replacement right away. Excellent customer service. If you want the dimming function, make sure you get the one with the touch fonction, the one with the switch don't seem to dim according to other reviews. Installation was a breeze, I have solid wood walls, so I just had to isntall 2 screws. Plastic inserts for drywalls and black screws are included.
