Used it to conseal my wire connections inside the garage instead of external Materials are solid, with side seals, and good quality so you can definitely use is outdoors for connection box. The size is just right for what i need.

This exterior-grade outdoor connection box is just the thing I needed to connect all the low-voltage wires from the various lights and cameras around the house and back to the power supplyPROS- It comes with collars of various sizes to hold different wire sizes. In my case, I placed 3 in each hole (low voltage thermostat wire 2 conductors in each)- has a gasket on the lid and a total of 10 screws t hold it together, ensuring a water-tight seal- came with a bus bar connector to join the wires within the box, (I did not expect that)- the screw-down wire clamping connectors draw down onto the wire and form a good seal.- the wire collars are soft yet solid to grip the wire.- there are 2 tabs on the exterior to fasten the box to a wall or some hard surface- the material is of sufficient thickness so it does not feel cheap or flimsyCONS- have not found any at this time other than for my purpose it could have been larger for the number of wires I placed into it. Not a product issue "just me trying to jam everything in"

Worked well for my application. I only needed a 2-way box for now, so I thought I could cap one of the unused ports, but they’re molded into the box itself and standard fittings will not work. I plugged it with a dowel for now to keep the box sealed. Using it for some low power outdoor yard lighting, and so far it’s working well.
