I don't often write reviews but as soon as I opened the package I was impressed. This wrench is solid, has no binding of the adjustment mechanism and easily maintained the spacing even after applying a lot of force to remove a seized bolt. At 12" long it gives you a lot of leverage to get the job done. The rubber grip makes applying a lot of force painless. It's not the most inexpensive but well worth the few extra dollars over some of the poorly made adjustable wrenches that don't allow for a smooth adjustment or don't hold the setting.

Really no reason not to give this wrench 5 stars. The price was nice on the wallet for what you get. The jaws are 1/2 inch thick and there is some heft to the wrench itself. I needed up to a 1 1/2 inch opening of the jaws for a reloading press I own. This wrench is more then enough for what I need for that application. I have some smaller adjustable wrenches, and a socket set. This will be a nice addition to my small array of house hold tools. Thank you Irwin Tools for making a really nice solid tool for not a lot of money! When I am in the market for another tool if Irwin tools make it, I would not hesitate to buy it.

la calidad del acero con la que están construidas tienden a oxidarse demasiado rápido. le aparecen manchas de oxidacion despues del primer uso

High Quality adjustable wrench. I have purchased the 12 inch, 10 inch, 8 inch and the 6 inch and they are all great. The jaw slides smoothly and effortlessly when adjusting it and once you have it to your desired size it keeps a good fit with little wobble. The markings along the jaw make it easy to have it set before you get started (Metric and English). Grips feel good and the wrench is sturdy. Another great addition to my collection of Irwin hand tools.

I use this wrench primarily for threaded 1 1/8" bicycle headset locknuts. It is difficult to find adjustable wrenches that open wide enough to accommodate the 36mm nut flanges. This wrench not only opens to 1 1/2", it also has english and metric markings along the jaw.The finish is clean and smooth. The coated grip is a bonus making cold weather use much easier.
