I love casting in resin, plaster, concrete, and other materials.The design of this mold seemed both useful and artistic. So, I decided to try my luck.The mold takes a moderate amount of material. For a trial, I elected to use high tensile plaster rather than resin.The mold did OK, but getting the handle portion of the lid and a good, intact lip on the jar portion was challenging.You can do it, but you need to ensure that you allow the material to set completely. For resin, I had to let it set for more than 24 hours and I had it cure at an ambient temperature of 170 F. With plaster, please see the enclosed picture, I never got it to set.It is a nice mold with a lot of potential uses, but you will need to take extra care to get the most out of it.Not for the beginner or casual caster.

These are great and great price. They are durable and super easy to use. Perfect size for jewelry or coins or any small trinkets.
