I used this to replace a flimsy stainless coated product, it's decently built but not too heavy or rigid. Worked great for my needs.

The stainless steel door hasp with turning padlock eye worked well on my sailboat . It appears to have been well made and the turning eye made it convenient to lock the hasp shut without having to use a padlock while the boat is in use . When the boat is not in use , the rotating eye easily accepts a padlock so that the boats contents can be secured . It was also a good size for the hatch cover of my 18 foot boat . I think it is a good item for smaller boats for securing hatches and lockers .
