Very well made for the price, if you want it to look more like the picture, the best way to do it is by adding thick leather strings, strips, or a hinge of some sort to attach to the top of the Wrapper/Buffe/Front part. Keep an eye on the leather straps as they did break after some use. Wouldn't take it to Buhurt, but it's a wonderful piece for Larp or Display.

Where to even start? The visor doesn't close properly so it leaves a large open area with the face exposed. Not ideal for jousting. I find it funny because they show it closed nicely in the picture. There are sharp corners and burrs all over the helmet, I cut myself twice trying to get the visor to close. As well the metal working is quite shoddy and the straps don't align properly. I'm sending mine back. My bottom line is, save your money.

It’s a cool helmet, however it’s nearly impossible to get the face shield on without a second set of hands, in addition, the black leather inside the helmet flakes off and gets everywhere, but once it all flakes off after wearing it enough then it won’t be a problem anymore, I just haven’t worn it since the face shield keeps the ear flaps anchored down and my ears are a little too big for me to wear it when they aren’t anchored down or they might clip my ears, but other than that it’s relatively comfortable given the fact that it’s a steel helmet, but I don’t know how comfortable it is once you get the face shield on since I don’t have anyone to help me get it on

I love the helmet. It fit my husband perfectly. He was going on for a while how he wanted a knights helmet. So when I saw this one I had to get it. Wonderful purchase very satisfied.

My son wanted this helmet for his 14th birthday. It arrived in good time, there is a lot of grease on it but that was for protection and we cleaned it up before we gave it to him. The straps are strong and it is comfortable to wear. He loves it. A bit tricky to get on alone but not impossible.
