Updated Review 4/4/25 The 1st steamer I received was faulty. The speed with which Jack and Rose Customer Service responded to resolve the problem and issue a refund was truly remarkable. They do stand behind the quality of their products. The 2nd product I received is excellent. I was looking for a travel steamer that was lightweight and dual voltage. This product worked extremely well on a linen tablecloth that was very wrinkled. If it can steam wrinkles out of heavy linen, lighter materials should be no problem. The water container does need to be replenished frequently, but a smaller unit is much better for traveling. It has only one steam setting, but that seems to be enough to get the job done. It does produce steam very quickly. I wish it was designed with a small stand so you could keep it upright. I would recommend this productOriginal Review;I am having the same issue as another reviewer. In addition to being incredibly noisy, this steamer appears to have trouble creating steam. I am assuming the product is defective. If I purchase another steamer, I am concerned that the results would be the same. The fact that some reviewers are satisfied suggests that the quality control is inconsistent. I am giving it 2 stars because I like the design, weight, size, and dual voltage. I will update my review if I get a better product.

Works great when it works, but quickly becomes a waste of plastic and electronics.

Ironing clothes seems like old school. My mom taught me while I was young. I am the only one in the household that knows how to iron. Its a hassle though, especially if you want something quick when a favorite shirt is a little wrinkled. I knew steamers existed. One day I came across this, and it was time to try something out. The description leads me to feel its quick to heat up and steam, which hopefully will take out wrinkles quickly.Pros:- Easy to refill with water.- water reservoir has reasonable size (for 1 or two shirts)- easy to hold onto and maneuver- corded (no need to ensure its charged up)- instruction manual included- power cord is about 6ft long- heats up quicklyCons:- its completely cosmetic, but a solid white or black would be more visually appealing to me- corded (if you need to use it without AC nearby you would be out of luck)- a slightly contour on the grip would be nice improvement- like ironing it likely works better when you can steam up against something very flat to and can stretch the fabric a bitProduct Aesthetics and Features:easy to hold and handle. Power cord is plenty long enough. Simply steam air, free standing will only get you so far. Like ironing I think this works best with some pressure against the cloth upon a flat surfaceProduct Quality and Durability:I am unable to comment, with personal experience, on long term quality and durability. My initial views on product quality and durability considering the materials and construction are:This handheld has a solid, stable feel. That tends to suggest quality. It does not have the value will break after a few uses feel.Using a scale of Poor, Average, and Excellent for product Quality and Durability.Personal Rating: (above) averageProduct Value:This review is not explicitly about the cost, rather the personal value at this price point.Similar products are priced at: $49.99Its smaller than a normal iron. It does heat up fast. The value is there, but nothing earth shattering.Using a scale of Poor (overpriced), Average (appropriately priced), Excellent (great value for price).Personal Rating: averageProduct Origin:Made in ChinaPrimary reason for the star rating:Its capabilities and speed of heating upConclusion:Considering everything mentioned aboveWould I recommend this: YesWould I buy this again: YesDisclosure:This is my own personal Amazon Vine review. It is an honest and true account of my own views, opinions, reactions, expectations relating to this product. I did not purchase this product, however I was provided this product for the expressed purpose of providing a review.

This is a great travel tool for touch-ups, but know that it won't save complete disasters. It is also very dependent on what type of fabric you are working with. These are all issues with any travel steamer, not just this one. We've had multiple travel steamers because our kid does dance competitions, and anyone who does that knows everyone carries around steamers for costumes!! I've also used this for work travel - but this isn't going to save a massively wrinkled dress shirt. For that job, I still use the hotel provided iron if they have one. But this tool is multiple times better than hanging your shirt in the bathroom while you take a hot shower. The design of the buttons is ergonomic enough, and I havent dealt with any water leakage yet. I've been using straight from tap water as the instructions say that's OK, but I imagine if you can only use distilled water that would be better. It also comes with a plug adapter for international travel.

The Jack & Rose portable mini steamer is an absolute game-changer for travel! It heats up in 15 seconds, which is perfect for quick touch-ups before important meetings or events. Weighing just 0.9 lbs and its compact size make it an essential item in my luggage. The dual voltage feature is fantastic for international travel. The ceramic heat panel steams clothes efficiently without damaging fabrics. This steamer is a travel must-have that will help you look your best, no matter where you are
