Imagine the panic that settles in as you’re going through an automated car wash. Driver side window is down. This product snaps off and window stays down. My face full of tricolour car wash foam. Don’t buy. This broke within three weeks. Going back to Porsche for OEM.

It was easy to replace. I used a kitchen knife to carefully pry the broken switch button out of its place. Once the broken button was out, I compared it to the 2 Jaronx buttons and picked the button with the same drawing on it. I inserted the new Jaronx button where the old one was and pressed it down firmly. It clicked in place. Voila"! The button and window work like new! Much easier than replacing the whole switch box.

The drivers side window switch chrome end broke off quite a while ago, something which I continued to live with as it did not affect proper functioning; however, a piece of the connection tip on the underside of the switch eventually broke off, meaning that while the switch still worked, it sat loosely in the socket and would pop out if not careful, making it a potentially awkward/frustrating situation, especially if it happened while you were trying to open or close the window. This switch clipped in snugly as promised and while there's a slight visual difference versus the stock switch, it's a non-issue. Something that is an issue is that the one-touch open function now only works intermittently and I haven't figured out the trick to make it work. However, the one-touch close function seems to work consistently. That said, this issue hasn't been a showstopper for me and it's certainly better versus a loose, broken OEM switch or spending $200 for an OEM replacment switch panel. That said, I see there are other comparable aftermarket switch options that may not suffer the same aforementioned one-touch issue.
