The bigger attachment worked really well. The smaller one was really short and not very useful

Several companies manufacture these, but for some reason there are "two" augers provided for a very reasonable price. I'm a frugal shopper and after reading several reviews and checking prices ... I am most pleased with what I ordered. The quality is excellent and the two sizes are perfect for bulbs (small auger) or just tearing up the soil (large auger). They can actually be fun to work with. Several neighbors saw me working and came over to see what I was doing. They were pleasantly surprised and said the idea of having these two augers was perfect for their garden and seed planting. So much easier than bending down and tilling by hand. Select this brand - you won't be disappointed.

We are currently in "clearance season" in my planting zone. It's not too late to pick up perennials cheap and get them in the ground, but it's also still peak summer season and I want to get out and play and spend my weekends not doing work. This auger comes with two sizes and fits to my drill, making it SO easy to get a great hole dug to drop my new perennials in. I was able to get the holes as deep as I needed them for a standard greenhouse 4-8 inch pot quickly with no fuss. This thing would make putting in bulbs an absolute joy, that's how easy the whole process went for me. I'll never sit in the garden hammering on a trowel with sweat dripping down my face again. Watch out Summer 2025 because my garden's going to pop up like the spring cover of Home and Garden Magazine!

Works except in cases if it is solid turf, which will seize it, and the drill handle will rotate instead, with potential harm, so BECareful! I did this, so …ouch.

Easily attached to a drill. Works fine. Wouldn’t use for a heavy duty job like a fence post. Would probably take too long. But decent for light garden work or holes at least a foot deep.
