Works fine out of the box! Requires 2 AA batteries (not included). The audio quality is not great, however I bought this just to have a battery operated device that picks up am/fm in the event of an emergency or just to toss in the day bag to have in the field-works great for what I bought it for and the price point is perfect for what it is. Flashlight built in-bonus! Volume is good too for an inexpensive device. Very practical but if you’re looking for high quality audio sounds this isn’t the unit for you. It’s simple and efficient, very easy to use and it has a port for headphones (not included) that you can use. If the price holds I might get a few more for stocking stuffers next year! Recommended for the price.

So surprised at this lightweight, inexpensive portable radio/ flashlight.Purchased to use if power goes out and want to listen to weather reports.It has a good clear sound. It stands up straight the antenna seems correct all the dials work. It also has a jack for headphones. You can clip on your belt or throw in your purse or use the hand strap. Very well worth the money to have that feature of battery power when you need it.

My Replacement radio is GREAT! It replaced the original due to a defective Battery Holder. The replacement has Amazing Clarity and is a Great Buy for the Price! BUT, HERE IS THE AMAZING PART OF MY PURCHASE! When I reported my Original problem to the "JAZMN SELLERS" ~ I was answered by one of their CSR Reps (NIKI)! She was AWESOME and handled my PROBLEM in a PROMPT and VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER! I RECEIVED A REPLACEMENT RADIO IN TWO DAYS! It is difficult in today's Business World to enjoy this type of incredible service!Thank YOU NIKI! I trust your employer is aware of your professional Talent!
