Summary:I was excited to get this product, as it looked to be comparable to name brand cinches of the same style. The packaging is nice, and one could wrap it immediately to give as a gift. It comes wrapped in paper, inside a box, making it easy to wrap. They used quality materials and leather to make the product, with nice strong thread in the stitching, and heavy-duty buckles. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product at this time due to quality control. The center of the cinch was not stitched correctly, causing the cinch to twist to one side.Pros:- Quality materials- Nice, heavy buckles- Nice stitching with strong thread- Nice packagingCons:- The stitching on one side of the center was off, causing the center of the cinch to twist slightly to one side- Quality controlStar Removal Reasons:1 star was removed because the stitching was off on one side, causing the center of the cinch to twist to one side. It appears that when one of the leather sides was sewn on, they sewed it too high and tried to make up for this defect by stitching two strands on top of one another, rather than the strands being stitched side-by-side. The center of the cinch should be straight, not twisted to one side, or it will cause discomfort to the horse. If this defect was not noticed and used to go riding, the rider could get injured if the horse bucked or reared due to the discomfort, which is why I removed a 2nd star. This cinch should never have gotten past quality control. This would be a 5-star product if there was better quality control.
