My wife belongs to a card and mahjong group. This table protector is what the doctor ordered. Cards and mahjong pieces slide with ease.

I contemplated whether or not to give this a three star or four star review. I ultimately chose a three star review, because I want people to see this review and be aware of the lack of padding on this mat. My true score: 3.7/5.It’s definitely not speed cloth. But the cards glide smoothly across the surface, and the material is good enough for modest use. It doesn’t slide around the table, because the good rubber backing. If you have an “arena” shaped table, this one fits perfectly. Measures true.However, it has zero padding. Picking up and shuffling the deck is difficult. Do you like to shuffle your chips? Not gonna happen without some extra padding underneath this mat.I think this Mat is going to work when I put down some padding underneath my table. I put a towel underneath, and I could tell that that made a difference. I’m probably gonna buy some type of padding. It’s just a little annoying that I have to buy something extra to make this usable.

Great for game playing of all kinds. Easy on the eyes and ears plus savsavess your table top and the value was good.

The pictures of the mat from Amazon shows that it is a nice bright light green, but the actual color is much darker. I prefer the lighter green so that it lighten up the table/mat more.

This is the best thing for your kitchen table for playing family, or any games on it really protects the table from scratches and water spots from drinks!
