I came across some reviews indicating that water collected on this draining mat doesn't evaporate off fast enuf. So just make sure you drain off as much water as possible before placing it on the mat. If you can place the mat next to the window or sunlight, that will help residual water to evaporate away quickly. Good quality build! Highly recommended!

Bonita y fácil de limpiar. Nuestra cocina es pequeña y antes batallabamos improvisando con trapos una zona de secado, lo cuál generó humedad en nuestros muebles. Con este tapetito hemos solucionado dicho problema, con el plus de que embellece nuestro espacio.

Súper práctico. Es una buena alternativa si tu escurridor no es suficiente. Se limpia fácil.

I was searching for a small draining mat and the colour was just perfect for meStarting to use it and i liked it even more because it tend to hold the water from flowing outside and just flipping it to throw the water makes it dry. Would have loved if it had a small part to allow the water to flow out to the sink but that is okayI like the colour the efficiency and the material

This is exactly what I needed for our RV. Countertop space is limited in our RV and when washing dishes there was no place to place the wet dishes prior to drying them. I thought a drying mat would work but they were so big and I was nervous about possible water damage seeping through underneath. Not to mention waiting for the mat to dry after each use. Then I saw this one which is a small 12” square and has a nice lip all the way around holding the water in. It’s also made from a rubber type material so it doesn’t absorb water. Just fold the mat diagonally and pour the accumulated water back in the sink. Then I just pat dry the mat and it’s ready to be put away! It’s perfect!

Ignore the comments about this being difficult to clean. It's silicone, it's pretty impossible for it to be difficult to clean, you just run it under the tap and scrub it with a bristle brush for a second. I've had mine for some time now and it has not gone mouldy at all, and in fact still looks pristine. I personally love it, I wanted a flat mat for glasses and this is really stable but drains nicely so that it doesn't leave water on the glass rim. It doesn't fold as well as I had expected so do consider that if you're wanting to tuck it away in a drawer.
