As a seed collector and seed swapper I like the size of these. They do have a regular envelope "wet to close" adhesive that will securely hold seeds of most sizes. I do not recommend these for really tiny seeds. If seeds are like grains of sand or dirt (like oregano, thyme, snapdragon, alyssum) use another type envelope with a zip to close type opening.Reopening these envelopes after sealing them is tricky so keep that in mind. I use washi tape or gift wrap tape to keep the tab down.

Very nice for my purposes. Ample space to label. I could have used a bit more space for notes (but I make more notes than most people are likely to). The envelopes are perfect for small &/or flat seeds. Not ideal for bigger, oddly shaped ones (can hold more than 20 beans & still close nicely, and I had to be careful not to overfill rough/sharp seeds like calendula), but for the majority of herbs & veggies I grow they hold a good amount of seeds.

The customer experience of receiving these is made up of two things; the delivery and the goods themselves. I have no qualms about the packets - they're just what I wanted - plenty of space to write in plant names, date and ancillary information. I am removing stars for the shipping debacle. These innocuous packets somehow got held up by Australian customs for not days, but weeks. And while this may not have been Amazon's fault, as I state, it's all part of the customer experience. Buy the packets by all means, but be prepared for potential delays receiving them.
