The assembly and installation was easy. The part that holds the phone to the mount is sturdy and secure, but the joint that holds that part to the rest of the mount has become loose and floppy. The joints loosen quickly and they're a pain to tighten with the unit installed on the dash. Overall, I'm unimpressed. Not worth $40.

This is so worth the money. It’s one of the few things from China that is actually well made. It’s strong, sturdy and I bought a Mag Safe iPhone 17mm mount to go with it. Works AWESOME! And in a bouncy Jeep, the phone stays sturdy and is readable.

Fit my 23 gladiator perfectly. It's a lot nicer and more heavy duty than I expected

This feels like a sturdy product. It goes in super easy with just a phillips head screwdriver. It took maybe 5 minutes to remove from the bag and install.It comes with an allen wrench which allows you to tighten down the swing arm so it doesn't move as much which is a real plus.It's all metal and feels strong - I'm hoping I get a lot of life out of this product.The grip on the phone feels strong too - it's strong enough that if the swing arm isn't tightened down it moves when you are putting your phone into the holder.My only negative is I ordered the Driver's side holder and they sent me the passenger side. I'm probably going to order another one eventually for my side of the Jeep (4xe) and let my wife use this one for now. When alone I have used it - my Jeep has a narrow interior and dash so that it isn't very far away actually. I don't text or use it when I drive but just use the google maps and sometimes connect it to my Jeep for Apple carplay. I just don't like the phone in my pocket and there is no other good place to put it so this holder is perfect for that. Again, just wish they has sent the right one I ordered.I would recommend this product and buy again.
