We are 75 and have both tented from our teens. We set up the tent free standing in our living room (1st photo. Couldn’t get the car inside 😜). Took 10 minutes first go. Everything is snug. No issues except I’d be careful inserting poles in the thin sleeve fabric 😬. Some nice touches like door storm flaps. There is a lot of head space and room for two chairs, a 2’ by 3’ table and two side by side self-inflating air mattresses. Strap loops and clips are well placed and overall build quality looks good.Install the long poles first especially if working alone (opposite to instructions) and make sure the “V” on the storm tarp is on the window wall away from the car opening - best installed with helpTwo issues easily addressed are:The storm tarp collapses against the tent window wall. You can see in the second photo a strap clipped on - to hold it off. I will be stitching a loop to the edge hem for a permanent fix.The bottom ends of the long poles tend to slide together making the tent floppy and unstable. It would not last in a wind unless the corners were anchored with good aftermarket pegs. I made up two 8’ 2” spreaders from old tent poles (2nd photo) and connected them to the corner rings using 1/8” ring lynch pins (3rd photo)Overall we are happy with the tent and will be using it traveling either attached or stand alone. A few uses will pay for it over hotels. Our family tradition is to sleep in it the first night and since it is still below 0 C here we will do that in our living room

It rained and the tent handled it well. I like this tent a lot.

This fit really well on my 2011 Kia Soul when I went car camping for the first time. I used magnets to make sure the connecting tunnel part stayed gap-free as I really didn't want any bugs coming to visit inside! The tent was a really good size, made for a nice area to change in and even for 4 people to hang out while playing card games before bed. Setup was pretty straightforward, easy for 1 person though the rain fly was easier with a second set of hands as I'm pretty short and this tent is tall. Ventilation was good and I liked that it had 2 doors and could be disconnected from the car if I needed to drive somewhere. It was pretty easy to pack up as well, though I'm good at planning the folds so others might have some issues getting out back into the bag. The price was great, would definitely buy it again!
