The sink came with a cheap, plastic-chrome ring on the overflow hole. It corroded and looked bad. This hole cover really dresses up the sink and covers the hole. It's a bit loose since the hole is not perfectly round - you have to turn it a bit to find the spot where it's tightest. I wish it was oil-rubbed bronze like the faucet and drain, but it looks OK. I like how it covers the hole and stands away from the surface to let water through.

We've had a sink without an overflow cover for years and we thought we didn't really care. Then I saw these overflow rings on Vine Voice and thought, why not!? I have to tell you, my husband keeps commenting on how much better the sink looks with this new cover and I just smile! Our faucet is oil rubbed bronze finish, but the matte black overflow cover blends in and isn't noticeable at all. It would have been nice to get one in the actual color of the faucet, so if there were something I'd change, it'd be simply to add an oil rubbed bronze option. Especially for the price, these covers are a great value. They're heavy and sturdy and will surely last many years to come. They're a nice quality metal instead of plastic, so that increases their lifespan instantly over plastic covers. I'm really impressed with these overflow rings and have already told others about their quality. Thank you, Vine!!!
