In the photos I provided, I show these lights, used both outside in the rain as well as underwater. I started using them for Halloween decorations in my water feature, and leave them in there year-round now (even in winter in the snow when the water feature is drained). I use the green lenses that come with them you get four different colors (red, green, blue, yellow) and clear. The lights work well to light trees or even to light the background. The skeletons are lit using the green lights.

2nd set. The 1st lasted 3 years.Very good output, easy to install. The transformer does get warm when left on 24/7.Note:The lights are only rated to 2ft below surface- Mine were slightly deeper. In 3rd year the fixtures eventually lost water seal, and pins in lamps rusted out. Trans, wiring, and fixtures still function. Lamps are as much $ as a new set.

I ordered 2 4-light and 1 3-light version of this for my fountain. One of the 4 light versions quit working shortly after purchase, and it wasn't even submerged in water - it was on the ground illuminating the bottom tier. They were an exact fit for the previous ones that came with the fountain, which was a plus for me.Pros:They seem fairly solid, with good epoxy potting to protect the insides of the lights. The twist off caps and color filters are a nice touch.Cons:The lights are very blue compared to my other landscape lights - which are yellowish incandescent/halogen color temperature. To try to address, I put the yellow filters on, and it gave quite a green hue. It would be very nice to have a version with a "warm white" 2700-3000k color temperature.Overall we decided we liked the green; partially because it's a pain to drain the fountain and refill. Mostly, though, because it makes our weathered aluminum fountain look like it has an old-time copper patina.I would have rated higher if I didn't have to drain the fountain and replace one set in the first two weeks. That's a lot of work since the power was supplied under the fountain.
