A good kit with various sizes for different applications. I particularly like having the smaller sizes available. One possible improvement would be to include a magnetic stick to retrieve the stirrers for toxic/caustic liquids.

This review is for the "Magnetic Stir Bar Set, Lab Type-B Mixed Size PTFE Magnetic Stirrer Mixer Stir Bars for Flat Bottom Beaker, 8x35mm, 8x30mm, 8x28mm, 7x30mm Magnetism for Laboratory Home DIY Project."One caveat to get out of the way. The mold on these have a ridge all the way around that may interfere when spinning. So far they are working ok, but it is worthy of mentioning as others I've ordered on Amazon with the ring to lift them up a bit so they spin well doesn't have that ridge.I like the different sizes and the case. Price is fair. I will admit they are otherwise well made and hold up to some heat and mild chemical abuse.Overall, these are worth getting, but there are many many other brands on Amazon to choose from.

These magnetic stirrers worked very well. They came in a great assortment of sizes. The smallest one was about the size of a tic tac. It worked great for small containers. If you want it to agitate the liquid briskly I use the biggest one I can fit in the container I'm using and use the fastest speed before it splashes. If you want less agitation, I use the smallest one in any container. The smallest one is also very useful for precision stirring. The box is easy to use and is convenient for storing them.

I've waited a month before leaving this review as I wanted to put these through a lot of use to be fair and honest with my review. I use these to propagate spores for my Cordyceps, Lion's Mane and various other mushrooms. I also use the flat kind of stir bars but have run into some difficulty as they get stuck on the bottom of the jars in the corn syrup and malt extract. This specific style of stir bar balances on the little ridge in the middle and spins right through without hesitation! They've lasted through 3 pressure cooks and the coating has not split as some others I've purchased in the past. I will be switching over to this style in the future!

They have worked great for me! The quality of the ptfe on the magnets looks to be very high good, and the magnets themselves are firm, but not too strong.I absolutely love the packaging, they have these magnets stored in little individual compartments so it’s easier to see and select the one you want.I have tried these in flat bottomed glassware as well as irregular glassware and they have worked equally well in both applications. I also used several with a heated plate and had no issues with warping or damage whatsoever.I definitely recommend checking them out!
