great costuming. It fits most body sizes because it has adjustable straps and feels fine over clothing. It is a bit harder to move than you would for a shirt but it is not horrid. Overall, this is not a bad expeirence if you want to look and feel like a knight. However, this is still mostly costuming and I am sure the steel is a bit too thin for real life work, so don't try it.

There's paint(?) flaking off on the back of the pieces. I'm really not a big fan of that and will probably try refinishing it.Yes, they are coated in protective oil. Make sure to wipe it all off with a soft cloth before wearing if you don't want oil staining your clothes, but also make sure to oil your armor regularly!

This is actual metal, not plastic. It came with a lot of rust and oil on it, so it needs a good cleaning before you put it on. The armor is not made for large people, but an average size person should be fine.

Spaulders are a decent size and fit fine but the gorget is clearly smaller than advertised. Less material, less rivets, this is clealy a bait and switch when comparing product photos used on Amazon vs real product. Do not buy. FYI, product also is covered in oil to prevent rust.
