They would have got 5 stars if they would have sent some instructions on how to actually use. I have never worked one of these nor did I know they exist until I saw a show. So when you get it from them It does't tell you how to work the controller , do you turn it all the way up or keep it down. I have know idea. My wife and I have been gold panning for 10 years and so we have been told there have been diamonds found in the area where we gold pan . And someone on the show mentioned one of these. Thought we could use one. Put instruction in the package as it will help.

Cheaply made products and moissanite tester doesn't work. I ended up returning this.

Not sure the moissanite tester will let you know if it's neither diamond or moissanite .It seems I get a reading of moissanite on any kind of stone ,even if it's quartz.Not sure that coincides with instructions on how to detect Diamond or moissanite.
