These are high quality brake pads. I can tell right away as they do not heat up the rotors very much in comparison to another brand new cheap set they replaced. They are silent with no squeaks.Please not I have taken a screen shot of the exact model and posted. They tend to mix up and share reviews here from what I've noticed over the years.

Easy install, it’s the prep time if not using new rotors. Need to scuff the used rotors substantially so the new pads seat correctly, otherwise you’ll develop pulsing like a warped rotor. This is my second pad set on my rotors. Passat 4motion

I purchased a full set of these Bosch Quietcast rotors and pads (front and rear) for my Volkswagen, preferring to stay with OEM or similar German brands. I never had much luck with whats available at the local auto parts store. I didn't need brakes quiet yet...but was about to embark on a cross country trip from coast to coast and wanted the peace of mind. I also wanted to find a set which matched rotors and pads (same brand) just to see if it made a difference, and which was available on Amazon.Shipping was troublesome- though it was ordered prime, it took well over a week to arrive and forced me to postpone the trip several days. The outside vendor who fulfilled it took their time and had me ready to cancel.The brakes themselves looked great out of the box. Grease was supplied and shims are molded into the pad making them easier to install. I now have over 3k miles on these and i can say there is zero squeak, even when first put on. They are truly "quietcast". I would say the braking is slightly better than what was on before. A look through the wheels today showed no noticeable wear so these should last awhile. They do rust on the surface like any other, so if you have open rims you may want to find a brand which uses the rust preventive formula. That rust goes away once you drive again.Overall I am very satisfied with these and will buy again if they are available when its time to replace. These are a bit higher in price than some others out there, but on par with most known brands.
