Balls arrived quickly and as advertised. This is our second purchase of these due to wanting more for less time spent collecting/picking them up and more time practicing. Balls go through our Jugs Lite machine perfectly and are surprisingly consistent from ball to ball. The balls give great feedback in terms of contact and power. These aren’t a wiffle ball so when my daughter squares on up it goes pretty far. These are also great for introducing fly balls to a newer player. Let’s them get under the ball as they should without the fear of a regulation firm/weight softball hitting them if they miss it. Great teaching/practice product even if you aren’t sending it through the machine for batting.

The BEST balls for kids. They have the feel of a good weight so when you throw them they actually go somewhere. When you hit them it has a good feeling off the bat. If you hit someone with them it doesn't hurt at all.I watched a 4 year old smack one of these off a tee into an old woman's face 15 feet away and she laughed. They're even ok indoors. It's very hard to describe how safe these balls are but at the same time aren't cotton filled puff balls. They're made of a rubbery like material that is light weight yet durable.Perfect for any kids related leagues or adult practice. They're a little pricy but highly highly recommend.

I have a few dozen of these for my 10U softball team. We use them for soft toss, pitching to girls at close range (to increase bat speed), from a ptiching machine, for fly ball work in the outfield and pop-up work in the infield. They are light, but they fly when you hit them and the machine can really zing them. They don't hurt, so I don't get any broken bones when I pitch to the girls from 20' and the girls don't get hurt if they take one in the face during drills. They are durable, easy to throw and very versatile. They are also very useful for practicing in a restricted area such as indoors or in a smaller yard or field.I'd say they are probably the most important piece of gear I have for a team this age. If you're coaching girls' softball at 8U through 12U, you MUST get some of these Jugs Lite-Flite 11-inch softballs. They will improve your team's practices and skills in short order.
