Fits perfect on my Fender player jazz bass. Nice quality. The tortoise effect is printed. It’s noticeable when you get close, but other than that looks good and it fit perfectly. Excellent for the price and nice international shipping.

Have definitely been disappointed in most after market pickguards in the past, but this three ply tort guard actually holds up very well against the Fender one. Didn’t want to justify $50 for a machine cut piece of laminate plastic, and this definitely resolved the issue.I received a different variety of tort than the one I ordered, which says something about the supplier/brand, but I like what I received plenty well enough to keep it.One note on fit - for years I’ve thought my MIM jazz bass didn’t quite fit the standard shape for pickguards as every guard I’d tried didn’t fit right at the control plate and had to be sanded slightly. I finally realized that my control plate was installed wrong at the factory - I plugged and drilled the screw holes on the control plate and now it’s a perfect flush fit to a new guard. So if you run into that problem, don’t hesitate to adjust the control plate if needed, it will look way better.

Does not fit pre 2000 Mexican Jazz basses. Pickup cutout is under spec.

this fit my 1968 Fender Jazz Bass quite well after a minor (and I really mean minor) bit of sanding and looks stunning.
