These KNB-45L batteries are a absolute perfect replacement solution for your radios without question.The physical dimensions on these are perfect. There is no sizing issues no slop no bad edges simply nothing bad to complain about. They are a perfect exact match for the requirements of the Kenwood 45L batteries. I've had no problem charging these either battery alone, or attached to the radio and the charger. The battery power retention time has been spot on of what I would expect of a brand new battery. They have NOT noticed no residual loss in them with more time of them being used per charge. They seem to be a very good quality replacement with the same expectations of the OEM batteries from Kenwood direct.The only difference from these and the original factory batteries is a slight difference in the texturing on the outer case finish on the backside and a small dot from the injection molding in the center of the stripe on the back of the battery. Outside of this there is no difference on these batteries in performance or physical characteristics.I most defiantly would recommend these batteries to others.NOTE: It should be noted that I have been using these batteries with a factory OEM Kenwood charger as intended by the radio and the original batteries. The model of my charger is a Kenwood KSC-35. The charger has not shown any signs of it rejecting these batteries whatsoever.

When I received this battery, I put it on the charger to bring it to full capacity. Then I placed it on a Cadex battery analyzer. After the 1st cycle they Cadex told me that the battery was at 79%. After the second cycle the Cadex told me the battery was at 80%. As per Motorola and Kenwood, a battery should be replaced when it hits 80%, as it will not satisfy the 5/5/90 8 hour guideline. Yes, the battery works on the Kenwood radio (I tested it on an NX1200NVK). Though with the reduced capacity it will not operate as long as a branded Kenwood KNB-45L with a stamped 2000mAh (also tested with Cadex and showed 100%).
