These batteries at 1,000 mAh, not 700 mAh like the originals. They charge fully, 5 out of 6 of the original batteries are not charging fully, cutting down on power output and operating time. I recommend these over the original manufacturer.

I bought these to augment the Midland OEM AVP-17 batteries that came with my radios. Batteries LOOK similar and have the same specs. They fit in my radios exactly as the originals but... When I put them on the OEM charger, the charger LEDs go red and STAY red. When using the OEM batteries, a brand new battery completely charges in 24 hours and the charger LEDs go OUT. I let these batteries charge for TWO days (48 hours) and the lights never went out. If I take the radios out of the charger and turn them on, they show a full battery. If these don't interact with the OEM charger the same was as the OEM batteries... how do I know if they will last and work the way the OEMs do? For that reason, I only gave 3 stars.
