i have a metal fabrication shop and we burn up chop saws all the time - spent the extra money for this one and extremely pleased with it. the operators manual calls for SAE30 oil for a lubricant but is too thick for the pump to work - we used hydraulic oil and it works perfect. spoke to customer service immediately when we put it together and spoke to a person right away - sent a new pump that day but the issue was the oil not the pump. Extremely happy with my purchase !!

I bought this, saw to do general light cutting, works great batter then I expected.

The 712N is a good saw. The problem is a safety issue. When the saw is vertical the pivot point of weight is directly under one set of wheels and it will tip over. Huge liability issue for this company and I tried contacting them but no response back. Otherwise a good saw.

No issues found with the machine, only that in the vertical position there was no table present which we assumed to be in the same package. Other then that the table was made by ourselves and the machine functions great. Nice smooth cut and noiseless.

Great cuts, The cuts are clean and accurate. That's the primary reason I bought this machine. 5 Stars for that. One interesting flaw. The machines center of gravity is weighted more toward the motor side of the saw. When moving the saw to the vertical position It can easily flip over (happened to me twice). So be very careful when doing that . The un-steerable wheels are simply a nuance. I removed the un-steerable wheels and made a sturdy stand with new steerable wheels and moved the center of gravity of the machine toward the middle of my stand to avoid it flipping over.There are several versions of this saw sold by different manufacturers. They are around the same price, probably all made by the same company in china with with a few very minor and cosmetic differences. The singular reason that I purchased this particular manufacturers version is that all the other brands I looked at offered only a 1hp motor where this had 1.5 hp
