I bought these for my boyfriend. He said that his feet were sore for only the first day of wearing them. Then they were fine. He likes that the sole of the boot is one solid piece. He likes the soft toe and how the piece comes up over the toes. He works for a painting company and is kneeling a lot some days. He has had them for less than a month but so far so good.

Bought them for work, received them on the14th, today is the 19th and I'm returning because the two materials that makeup the sole are delaminating, separating from each other. I've had several pair of Keens over the past 2 years or so that had the same thing or a similar issue with the sole adhesive failing.

They are very comfortable, they seem to be very resistant, and the wide size is perfect. In other brands the wide size is too wide. I will update the review again in a year.

I usually wear a 10 wide. Way too small. Ordered a 10 and a half wide, still too small. Ended up in an 11 wide.The first two days in these were miserable. It feels like my toes are pointing up at my face. Feels like my foot is in a vice. Lots of toe room though.The rivet sitting directly on my big toe knuckle seems like poor placement.I was having regrets, then I tried some insoles that do not go all the way to the toe. It was a huge improvement and corrected the angle of the foot bed. I also used a boot stretcher to stretch the ball area, which was painful before. They are very comfortable now.1. Order insoles immediately. Get ones that go under the heel and arch only.2. Get a boot stretcher. It will save you a lot of break in time that is downright painful.Over all these boots seem tough. The leather is nice. They are very thick and pretty heavy. The soul is very thick they probably give me an inch and a half of height. It took a little getting used to and I would have never made it without a boot stretcher. The ball of the foot area is way too tight and has two rivets that are absolutely like teeth. I can only recommend them after addressing those issues myself.I probably worn them for about 10 days and now taking breaks and making adjustments with the stretcher. I ended up leaving them on the stretcher for about 2 days before I was happy with it. They are actually very comfortable. They seem very tough and that is probably why the break-in period is so brutal.I expect a really durable work boot to be heavy and have a break in.Overall I would recommend them especially for the price. I think they're very high quality, even if the design is not perfect.
