Vague directions on how to install. Poor schematic diagrams. Very Sensitive easily damaged by accidental mistake in guessing how to wire it. Easily Damaged. No Second chances. Would Not Recommend it.

The instructions are microscopic and pathetic. The diagrams (also tiny) are impossible to relate to a real vehicle's wiring. I tried to install to bypass the failing factory unit in my 2007 ford ranger. Even with the full schematics on the truck and a degree in engineering I was unable to get it to lock my doors. it would unlock them but not lock. After many hours of trying. I decided to pack it up and try again when I have time to dismantle the doors and rewire them. When I did so the factory unit decided to start working suddenly. So this is now sitting on a shelf until the factory stuff dies again when I will once again try. With the diagrams so bad and instructions vague it's all trial and error. Too bad. If you are an automotive electrician you will probably be pleased. Anyone else won't.
