Works great, but this thing is massive. Ridiculously thick. OK if it is staying on a desk only, you won't want to put this into a backpack to move it. Thar said, it's decent quality and all that. The extra usb ports are nice. It's a little weird that the fan isn't covered, but if the laptop is in it i guess it's fine & the bowl shape does guide the air well without blocking any vent holes.

Overall, I like this cooler, but it is intended more as a desktop cooler and not a travel cooler for your laptop.By that, I mean that the cooler is fairly large and bulky,m and would take up excessive space in your computer bag. But, sitting on your desk, for instance, if you use a laptop and dock instead of a tower PC, then this cooler works exceptionally well. The angle is fully adjustable, meaning you can leave it flat if you're using an external keyboard, or you can adjust it to get the best angle for your laptops integral keyboard. If you like flashy lights and LEDs, then this cooling stand has you covered with multiple modes and colors. I use an Alienware gamining laptop as my work computer, and I can set the cooler light pattern to match (more or less) the keyboard lighting. Usually, I have both lighting systerms shut off, but it's nice to show a little bling every now and then. The most important thing, though, is does it provide adequate ooling, and the answer is "Yes." Even under a heavy load, working with video editing and transcoding, my laptop stays significantly cooler when used on this stand than without it, and that's the name of the game. The other major question is how sturdy and durable is it? The answer is that the stand is fairly sturdy, able to handle my 17" laptop, keeping it stable at my favored angle. As for durability, the plastic feels solid, and the hinges seem to be sturdy and built to last.Other than size, the biggest downfall for this cooling stand is fan noise. At lower levels, it isn't bad at all, and for regular desktop style work, that's probably all you'll need. But if you need max cooling, then you are going to have to put up with some noise. But this isn'y a problem unique to this cooling stand, and at this price, you're going to have trade offs, in this case, a fan that's noisier than higher dollar units. All in all, this is a good cooling stand for your laptop. It provides enough cooling to handle even a work horse laptop, which means the laptop itself will last longer and perform better. And that is worth the investment. There are better laptop coolers out there, but, again, at this price, you won't find many.

A bit noisy at the highest setting but works as expected. Keeps my gaming laptop at a reasonable temperature when in use. RGB is very bright if you want to use that. Works as expected and is less expensive than other larger brands when you consider this is just a fan and laptop stand it shouldn't be very expensive.

For a 35$ laptop cooler.. it does work. It’s not going to perform was well as the 90$ ones but it will help.I use pads to increase height on the backside instead of the built in stand.
