The tubing is extremely large which creates a pressure reservoir that results in a “splat” after you release the gun trigger. Higher quality extension tubes utilize an inner tube with the same diameter as the orifice to minimize this problem. I ended up purchasing a 6” Graco extension and throwing these in the trash.

I used two of these extensions with a Graco X5 sprayer on a large shed and they performed fine with no leaks. They are lightweight and easy to maneuver. If you're suffering from leaks, torque the joint a little harder. I applied a thin film of thick silicone grease to the gaskets which may have helped. A previous reviewer is correct that there is a splat when stopping the spray, but it is very slight and not an issue for outside jobs. It *might* be an issue if you're painting an interior bedroom.

Product came in a timely manner and was good quality just what we needed on this job and for less then half what the paint store charge us

I really wanted to use these but the paint pot I purchased from Amazon had a 1-1/8” nozzle and these were 3/4”. In fact there were no 1-1/8” Extention’s available
