I decided to not skimp on wire for the boat wiring. I had used regular copper before and had the connection corrode and fail. Only tinned marine wire from now on.This is the real deal. I used this for adding LED lights and low voltage phone chargers.

Saw that other reviews mentioned no markings on this GPT general purpose wire. Almost didn't order because. My delivery did and was tinned like Ancor product should be. Markings: ANCOR 16/2 GPT 19/29 TC RIPCORD. Seems like my spool label is a more rescent design as well.

Good insulation. Seams like good power wire. I would not use for speakers. Really stiff and the slowest shipping I have ever had with prime. Ordered Dec 20 with prime 2 day shipping. Recieved on Jan 11. Although the shipping was a total mess I ordered another type of marine wire of the Ancor brand. Hopefully it is more suitable for speaker wire.Lost a star for shipping.

Great! As expected from ancor. Used it to wire sailboat mast with leds. Marine grade tinned copper with Flexible and durable insulation, ribbon wire is so easy to with.
