I’m really happy with this freestanding dog gate! I was using a baby gate that was ugly. This gate has a very nice design and is sturdy due rotating support feet. It is flexible and easy to move around the house. I really love that there’s no drilling or wall damage. It fits perfectly across my two kids doors and folds up easily when I’m not using it. One point is that my dog is pretty well behaved so the gate deters her from trying to get in the room. If your dog is "determined" they certainly can nudge it away since it isn't locked into the door frame. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a flexible and reliable pet gate.

I’m using this gate to keep my dogs from going upstairs. Since there’s no wall to secure a traditional gate, I had been wedging one between the wall and the banister stand — not only was it an eyesore, but it was also a hassle to move whenever we needed to use the stairs. This new gate is freestanding, so I can simply place it at the bottom of the stairs. It looks great and is super easy to open just enough to pass through. Much better than having to lift the old gate every time! It’s lightweight, easy to store, and will be convenient to take with me when my dogs stay with a friend for the week. I’m really happy with this gate!

its easy to install , functions well but isn't very dog protective. maybe if you have a puppy puppy maybe but I have a 1 year old frenchie and he one pawed it over lol

While it’s sturdy enough for small pets, I wouldn’t rely on it for larger or more determined animals.I adjusted the panels to fold in the same direction and placed it around my window AC unit. Our bedroom windows are low, and the AC’s controls are easily accessible, so this gate acts as a simple barrier to keep my toddler and pets from tampering with it. It’s not meant for heavy-duty security, but for temporary use in low-risk areas, it works perfectly.The design is flexible enough to fit around odd angles, and folding it for storage is straightforward. The approximate dimensions (around 53 inches long and 24 inches tall) provided ample coverage for my needs. While the materials feel durable for its purpose, the lightweight build means it’s best suited for gentle supervision rather than containment.For its intended use, it’s effective, but I expected a slightly sturdier construction given the price. It’s functional for redirecting small pets or curious toddlers, though not ideal for high-pressure scenarios.Overall, this gate is a practical, no-fuss option for redirecting small pets or curious little ones. Just don’t expect it to withstand vigorous pushing or jumping.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness and quality of this gate. It is doing a GREAT job of keeping the baby in the tv room and the dogs out of it. I particularly like the way it can be expanded or contracted based on your needs at the time.
