Had a spare set of keys for my wife’s 2011 Yukon Denali and the remote didn’t work very well because part of the housing was cracked. I tried to fix it with some hot glue and that did not work. This replacement housing was a cost effective alternative to buying new remotes that require reprogramming.

I bought this replacement fob case because the original one was inoperable. I opened the old case and removed the motherboard and battery. I opened the new case and tried to install the motherboard into the bottom half of the new case. However, no matter what I tried, it didn’t fit well enough for me to snap the top on to the bottom part. After several attempts, I took the motherboard out and was able to snap the new case together. Then I once again opened the new case and snapped the bottom of the old case onto the top of the new case. I realized then that I was going to have to put the motherboard back into the old bottom and snap the new case top on to the old bottom. It fit perfectly together with no movement of the battery or the motherboard. At least I now have a fop that works
