Worked perfect! I did take them to a lock Smith to move the inners into these new fobs and he put in new batteries to.Came really quick worked out great!

These replacement covers are made much better than the original GM ones.The original GM ones that I had have only one very thin plastic loop on only one cover half for the metal ring to attach to. This is the thin part that easily cracks and breaks after enough wear and use, hence buying these as a replacement.These new ones have significantly thicker/beefier loops and with one loop on each half making it two thicker loops for the metal ring to attach to, making this one much stronger and more durable than the original.Everything fit perfectly, just make sure to install the metal battery clip that's included with the tab pointing up like with the original and positive side of the coin battery face down. I suggest using tweezers to insert the metal clip into the socket as it is small. Place the circuit board into the rubber piece FIRST then put this assembly into the top cover as the circuit board expands the rubber piece outward to make a good firm seal with the edges of the top (button hole half) cover. This step is important! Or else there will be a struggle to get them to fit together.The issues that others have mentioned about these are likely from the way that they assembled this? I had no problems and if done the way that I've described above, you should have no problems in getting the halves to snap shut and stay shut.I highly recommend this replacement cover set! No problems with the seller either, arrived right when Amazon said it would.
