Good buy, took it to Batteries Plus and had it cut in 20 minutes. Programed myself in the parking lot. Followed directions on reviews. Had no problems. 2016 fiesta se. Much cheaper than the dealer or locksmith. You do need 2 keys plus the new to program as stated in instructions.

Don't Buy this Junk Key, spent 80 Dollars to have it programed and cut and it doesn't work!!! I can get a refund for this Junk key, but that doesn't cover the $ 80.00 cost of programming and cutting of the Junk Key!!!

you bring it to a locksmith specializing in keyfob programming. THEN it cost me $200 just to get it programmed in order for the car to START. My car would not start with the microchip inside the keyfob- I tried. I did not know this before purchasing this keyfob. The locksmith said *that some* cars with keyfobs don't have a chip, but mine did. I have a 2017 Ford Fiesta. I was able to program the keyfob to lock/unlock per the online instructions, although I needed to reach out to their support since my car's make and model were not on the program list. After that, and after paying $200+, the key works perfectly.Car: 2017 Ford Fiesta SE Automatic

Purchased this as a spare key for my daughters used car that only came with one key. I got it cut and programmed at a Batteries+ store and it works just as good as the original ford key for a fraction of the cost. The only issue we had was initially (minus 1 star) they were having a problem programming but figured out that the Panasonic battery that came pre-installed with the new key was dead on arrival, so Batteries+ replaced it (for free) and everything worked great after that. So be aware if the programmer is having problems, swap out the battery.

I was a bit hesitant to order a car key online but, after researching the correct key to work with my car’s factory keyless entry, I decided to give it a try. Ordered the key and it arrived within 36 hours. I took it to Batteries Plus Bulbs and they cut it (without programming) for $20.I’d already found online instructions to program it to my car to start it (must have two existing programmed keys available to program a new one without dealer/locksmith assistance) and after I did the simple, 1-minute programming procedure, the new key started the engine just fine. In fact, programming the keyless lock/unlock function to the car is a much more involved process, but on the second try I got it right and it all works. And saved me at least $200 over using traditional methods.I would not hesitate to purchase another key from this seller again. Here are some hints to make it go smoothly:1. Make sure the FCC ID and the factory part number of the key you’re buying matches your existing key.2. There are stores that will cut the key for you without charging a fortune. Think Ace, Home Depot, Batteries Plus Bulbs, etc.3. Check your owner’s manual. It may contain key programming instructions. Both the new-key programming AND the keyless entry programming instructions are printed right in the factory owner’s manual (2018 Ford Fiesta in my case).4. Do not attempt to program the key before you get it cut.I’m 100% satisfied with this key and the seller.
