I purchased a 2017 Acura RDX with one key. I knew the key fob was expensive but was confident I could come up with an aftermarket solution that would solve the problem. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The Acura dealer was well over $400 for an OE key fob, cut and program. I took this key fob to a local locksmith that advertises they can cut and program smart keys. They were able to cut and program the key fob for a total of $85. The only issue is the key fob will not operate the liftgate. I had read this was an issue but I am happy I have a key that will do all the other functions needed.

Even though it was aftermarket it worked, (almost). Everything worked except for trunk. The client did not care, just needed for spare key. She was happy.

I lost my keyless remote to my 2016 Honda HRV and needed a replacement. The Honda dealership in my town quoted me $400 for a new key and programing of the key. After reading the reviews on Amazon I took my chances and ordered this key for my car. I contacted a local trusted locksmith who cut the key, and programed the keyless remote for $80. The key works perfectly and I have not had any issues. Please note having a locksmith program the keyless remote is needed. This is not a do it yourself project.

Surprisingly worked for Acura. Don’t recommend going to dealership, find another key smith.

I bought this keyfob about 19 months ago. I had it programmed to my car, more than doubling the price. The first time I needed to use this, my backup key, it was dead. I thought it was just a bad battery.I just replaced the battery again two days ago so I could lend my car. It worked great!!! This morning, the battery is dead again, and therefore the fob.The ONLY way for this to happen is for the fob to be using the ENTIRE charge of the battery in less than 48 hours. These were not brand X batteries, but new, in date Duracell.The fob must be flawed. I'm not sure if I will buy another.
