I had to buy extra spacers to make it fit my Grinder, but in the end I am very happy with the results. Had a hard time finding self stick 7” Sanding pads, so I got 8”, worked perfectly. They should be more clear about the type of sandpaper to buy for the round discs, get self stick and not hook and loop. Was not able to find a converter pad, maybe one does exist somewhere, maybe they should include on for a few more dollars???

The screws and hardware are such low quality. They will barely hold this together. I plan to try to return it.

Let me start out by saying, I'm a fabricator and bladesmith. So I have a ton of experience with belt grinders / sander and tools of this fashion. I purchased this unit as a quick cheap alternative to use in my wood shed to sharpen lawn mower blades and small stuff alike so I don't have to lug the stuff into my shop. The product arrived with screws that were unusable as the philips heads weren't even punched, they were more or less threaded pins - china mustve had an off day for these and other components on this attachment. Components like the fixed part of the race that bolts to the grinder where the unit rotates on and the aluminum drum look like they fell off a tall shelf and hit the ground. There's decent sized dents in both parts which defintely happened after the parts were zinc plated and as such the aluminum drum and steel disk are out of round and unbalanced, vibrating the entire grinder when in use. Just overall really poor construction. I know it's cheap in price but I shouldn't have to hand refinish brand new parts!! This thing looks shiny and nice but is cheap as hell, is assembled with junk hardware and vibrates to much to use. Oh, and the belt adjustent is basically non-existent, It's either 100% one way or the other, there's no middle ground for the belt adjustment, the lever just flops around with almost 2 inches or air and no adjustment. The only way to fix this is to disassemble the unit to make fine adjustments and reassemble where a normal unit takes literally 30 seconds to dial in. So yea, if you're unexperienced in this, it's gonna take you like 30-60 mins to get this POS dialed in where you're not chewing up belts. Some others have high opinions of the units they purchased, maybe this thing was built on a Friday. With Amazons track record for quality, this is almost to be expected these days. All in all, this thing is like a V6 Mustang, it's shiny and nice looking but will never perform as good as it looks.
